Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be of the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and legally able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering, you represent that you are purchasing on behalf of yourself or an organization you are authorized to bind, for legitimate research purposes only.

2. Research use only

All products are supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not for human or veterinary consumption or clinical use. Your purchase and use are also governed by the Buyer Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. In the event of a conflict regarding permitted use, the more restrictive provision applies.

3. Products, pricing, and availability

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change at any time. We make reasonable efforts to describe products and stock accurately, but do not warrant that descriptions, images, pricing, or availability are error-free. Where a product is listed at an incorrect price or with a material error, we may cancel or decline the affected order even after it is submitted, and will refund any amount already paid for it.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. A confirmation page or email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute our acceptance. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to accept, decline, limit, or cancel any order — including for suspected fraud, resale, prohibited use, stock issues, or inability to verify payment — before or after payment, with a refund of any amount paid for a cancelled order.

5. Payment by Interac e-Transfer

Payment is made exclusively by Interac e-Transfer. After placing an order you will receive an order number and payment instructions. To have your payment matched and your order processed, you must follow the instructions exactly:

• Send the e-Transfer to [email protected] for the exact order total.
• Use the payee name and any security question/answer exactly as shown in your order instructions.
• Enter your order number in the message/memo field.

Orders are held as awaiting payment and are not shipped until the transfer is received and manually confirmed. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, or if the payee name, security answer, amount, or memo do not match, we may cancel the order or delay processing. We do not accept credit cards or any payment method other than Interac e-Transfer.

6. Shipping

We ship within Canada only. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Shipping charges (or free-shipping eligibility) are shown at checkout. Delivery timelines provided by carriers (including Canada Post) are estimates; we are not responsible for carrier delays, lost or misdelivered packages, or incorrect shipping information you provide. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier.

7. Returns and refunds

Because of the nature of the products and to protect their integrity and safety, all sales are final once an order has shipped and we do not accept change-of-mind returns.

If an order arrives with the wrong item, or an item that is damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs. Where we confirm our error, we will, at our option, replace the item or refund it. Approved refunds are issued by Interac e-Transfer to the sending address or another method we specify.

8. No warranties

Products and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Product-specific disclaimers and the Buyer Agreement apply.

9. Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any misuse of the products. Our total liability arising out of or relating to any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. You agree to indemnify and hold the Seller harmless from any claim arising out of your use, handling, resale, or misuse of the products or your breach of these Terms or the Buyer Agreement.

10. Prohibited use and resale

You may not purchase products for human or animal consumption, for unlawful purposes, or for resale or redistribution in a manner that removes or contradicts the research-use-only representations and labelling. You may not use the Site to violate any applicable law or regulation.

11. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, logos, and images — are owned by or licensed to the Seller and may not be copied or reused without permission.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, with the “Last updated” date revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta, Canada.
